I’m a Director of Engineering at Lean TECHniques where I work on some internal initiatives and also work with clients, usually helping them build web apps using some combination of C# and/or JavaScript, as well as help develop better software engineering cultures.
Besides web stuff, I’m also really passionate about DevOps, building communities, and technology in general. I am extremely passionate about giving back to the software community, because others have helped me (and continue to do so).
Some things I’m involved with:
- I maintain this blog
- I speak at conferences
- I’m a co-organizer for the Iowa .NET User Group
- I’m a Microsoft MVP
- I’m a Friend of Redgate
- I try to contribute to open source in between the cracks
Most of my blog posts are about a small topic with the goal of trying to save other people time. Other people have helped save me hundreds of hours of my own time via their blog posts, so I started this blog to return that favor.
Feel free to ask me about anything!
